Sony added another member to the X series. Sony Xperia XA Ultra, features a whopping 6-inch 1080p display for customer who enjoys big size screens. This also means that the phone will have a pixel density of 367ppi. Building on earlier mid-range Sony "phablets" like the Xperia C5 Ultra, the XA Ultra brings a gigantic display to what should be an affordable handset. On the outside, the XA Ultra features a similarly good-looking polycarbonate body, with Sony's trademark symmetrical design language front and back. The phone's metal structure is well designed and holds up a lot of fascination for those interested in the Sony line of smart phones. The Sony Xperia XA Ultra features a 3GB of RAM, meaning that it can run the newest Android OS, Marshmallow, smoothly. It has an internal storage of 16GB, which is expandable with a microSD card.
The XA Ultra's front camera boasts a 16-megapixel sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization.) And to top it off, there's also a front-facing flash, making it perfect for selfie shooting. On the back, you can find the more traditional 21.5MP and acclaimed Exmor RS sensor.
This newest flagship from Sony is powered by a 2,700 mAh battery, and according to Sony, a single charge of the phone can last up to 2 days. While this may be deliberate, we still keep to the fact on paper because the battery capacity has not been extensively tested. What is more striking about the phone, however, is the quick charging technology. This tech allow you to charge the phone for only 10 minutes for a 5.5hour usage. Although this may not pass for a completely new tech pn a smartphone, it is well fitted for a mid range phone like the Sony Xperia XA Ultra. And the you would probably enhoy the feature more if you are always busy. The only downside is that it is not among the accessories that accompany the phone, you woild have to purchase it separately.
Conclusion
Xperia XA Ultra is an interesting device catering to those wanting a big screen, top-notch selfie capabilities and a affordable price tag. This smartphone will be available in White, Black, and Lime Gold colors. The phone is expected to arrive in July this year.
