We are all accustomed to the fact that new flagships are a combination of advanced technology and high price tag. The Pixel 5 is more of a mid-range device than a top-end device, but it is also Google's most technologically advanced smartphone.

The smartphone is equipped with a modest by modern standard display with a diagonal of only 6 inches. Due to this, the device turned out to be compact - no more than 145 mm in height. Protective display glass - Gorilla Glass 3, Full HD+ resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate. The device has IP68 protection and supports wireless Qi charging.

The gadget is powered by a modern mid-level processor Snapdragon 765G paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Although this is not a top-end chipset, it is enough to perform tasks and optimise games. It is also sufficient for fast camera operation and 5th generation networks.

It is important that Google has finally made a smartphone with a large battery - as much as 4000 mAh with support for 18W fast charging. Indeed, this is a breakthrough for Google! It is also worth noting a new set of cameras in the device:

  • Main camera - 12 MP with f/1.7 aperture, optical and digital stabilization, slow motion video recording up to 240 fps and 4K @ 60 fps;
  • 16 MP wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, viewing angle 107 degrees;
  • Selfie camera - 8 MP with f/2.0 aperture.
